Dear Friends,

Dear Friends,

Becoming Holy: On the Sacredness of Queer, Trans, and Women’s Lives

We are excited to invite you to a Corrymeela Public Theology course on the Sacredness of Queer, Trans, and Women’s lives.

Working in the tradition of Liberation Theologies, this course invites you to explore theology and beliefs about God, sacredness, Queer, Trans, and Women’s lives, by grounding ourselves in our own lived experiences as our starting point. We will pay close attention to trauma-informed practice, post-colonial critique, and an examination of power in order to reimagine the Christian story in an empowering way. Touching on themes like the body, anger, and scapegoating, we will dream and seek to take practical actions to transform our communities towards justice together.

Wednesday Nights: October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, November 5th, 12th

8-9:30pm via zoom

Free to attend
