Ian trained at Union Theological College in Belfast for the Ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI) and served as a Presbyterian Minister for over 25 years before the decisions made by PCI in 2018 onwards caused him to make the difficult decision to leave the church, his ministry, his home and his calling. Ian and June have collectively already made a huge impact through their generous warmth and welcome to the LGBTQIA+ community, their Proud Parents group, and June’s Wonderfully Made craft pieces which are stocked in the Another World Belfast store.
