Phil tells the story of how she inadvertently caused her son to question her support before he came out.
She calls for more sensitivity to the challenges for young LGBTQIA+ people living in NI, especially within a religious or church context. She warns of the dangers and the damage of doing otherwise.
Phil is greatly missed. She was a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the church and walked every year with Christians At Pride NI in Belfast Pride.
