“Many parents and doctors feel like God only wants male and female – so they see intersex as a problem that needs to be fixed.”

On Tuesday 21 March, we’re offering a rare opportunity to actually talk about this and to discover what it means to be intersex as well as a person of faith.

We will be screening a series of powerful pre-recorded personal stories and holding an in-person conversation with Sarah Haveron.
Sarah is a Board Member of Intersex Ireland and is herself intersex and a person of faith.

Sarah will be co-facilitating this evening and helping us explore what it means to be Intersex and how faith spaces can become affirming and inclusive of Intersex people.

The event is 21 March, 7.30pm at Harbour run in partnership with our friends at Spectrum: LGBT+ Christian Fellowship Belfast.

Refreshments provided and as always, all are welcome.
