This Tuesday, a lovely evening of reflection and music…
Borderlands is back in the Pavilion Bar this month on the 13th June which is the second Tuesday of the month as usual. This month we’ll be joined by a brilliant Rwandan activist and peace builder, Christophe Mbonyingabo who will speak of his work with Carsa. Connecting Rwanda to Northern Ireland can seem quite challenging as the stories are very different. Yet there is much we can learn and be challenged by as we listen to someone immersed in the work of rebuilding communities. Christophe will be joined in a conversation with Diane Holt of Thrive Ireland whose work has involved visiting Rwanda. She can speak of the journey of working with victims and survivors from our post-Troubles context here and facilitating them to witness restorative justice work in Rwanda. We’ll also have music and reflections as usual to add to a night that will be deeply meaningful. Please share this post and invite others to come along.
