Alone and Together…as humans some of us instinctively know how to find solitude and some of us are terrified at the thought of it, looking always to be surrounded by people, noise and activity.
We want to explore the themes of how as humans solitude can provide necessary time to listen to ourselves. But we also want to consider the so called “epidemic of loneliness”. We will dig into these themes of isolation, loneliness and we will perhaps seek a contrast in the disciplines of solitude and of community.
Join us at Borderlands on Tuesday 10th March at 7.30pm to explore what a healthy balance can look like. As usual we will have music as well as spoken word pieces and conversation. We’re back in the Pavilion Bar on the Ormeau Road. Come and join the conversation.
